The Security Group-SA was established from humble beginning in 2018 as a consultancy but has grown due to the extensive security service offerings and professionalism towards services being delivered on.

Management
As an accomplished South African Police Law Enforcement professional with over 30 years of international, public and private security experience, Pieter is a professional and results oriented leader. Pieter transitioned to the Private Security sector following a career within the South African Police VIP Protection Services and Specialised Investigating Units.
Since joining the private sector 20 years ago, Pieter managed, designed and implemented security measures across large companies and spearheaded executive protection teams across South Africa and Africa.
Pieter spent a few years operating and living throughout Africa to gain essential experience working in tough conditions. He is a recognized subject matter expert in security measures, executive protection and investigations.
Pieter also coordinated numerous operations in corporate security, executive protection and surveillance detection in South Africa and Africa for several companies such Cell C, SANRAL E-Toll Project, East Rand Water Care Company and Leonor Carrinho International. In the past few years, Pieter also worked with these companies to set up security departments internally and implemented security infrastructure to mitigate all their risks.
His professional history includes positions such as Head of Security and Loss Control as well as National Security Manager.
He also established and managed investigation teams to successfully investigate all internal and external cases.
Pieter has progressive experience in Security Management, Forensic/Fraud Investigations, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Fleet Management and SHE Management which he gained during his career.
He was recently approached as a security consultant to oversee a complex, multi-level risk management project in Africa coordinating security teams to provide protective intelligence, physical protection, security consulting and intelligence.
As the Managing Director, Pieter utilises his extensive experience and expertise in risk management, executive protection, corporate security, investigations and intelligence to deliver the perfect blend of global and risk-driven security and investigative services.
